Michael Edmiston
medmiston42 AT gmail DOT com

We are the community of cells, bacteria, mitochondria, and various intangibles known as Michael Macrae Enciso Edmiston. We have been blessed and cursed with a ravenous curiosity about pretty much everything, which sometimes gets us into trouble but has also landed us a gig in this badass class. We are adept at emblazoning glyphs onto sheets of dead tree flesh and electric light-emitting rectangles, as well as producing patterned vibrations in the air around us. We exercised and developed these skills at Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania, where we received a B.A. in Theater. We are interested in far too many things to specialize, however, which is why we are currently enrolled in the MALAS program. Come to our office hours (1 - 2 on Tuesdays in the Love Library 24/7 Study Area, or somewhere outside once it cools down a bit) to talk to us about the weirdness of life, the Universe and everything, and homework too, if you're so inclined.

Caleigh Cornell
CCORNELL AT rohan DOT sdsu DOT edu

While Caleigh Cornell'’s natural habitat is on the coast of North Carolina, she migrated to San Diego to enjoy the good surf and nice weather… oh sure, and to enlarge her brain in graduate school at San Diego State. Here, Caleigh is pursuing a M.A. in English and Comparative Literature with a concentration in American Literature and hopes to graduate in May 2014. Caleigh enjoys surfing, traveling, hiking, exploring new places, cooking, singing, and reading/writing (duh.) After she graduates from San Diego State, Caleigh hopes to do some traveling but will remain a life-long nerd… I mean, student… and plans on pursuing a Ph.D. in Literature. My office hours are Wednesdays from noon-1pm in AH 3178 and also by appointment.

Alan Chihwaro
alanrc AT gmail DOT com

Alan Chihwaro is currently working towards an MA in Children's Literature. After discovering that completing a bachelor's degree in English at SDSU wasn't enough to satisfy his curiosity and love of learning, he came back for more. His latest research is focused on investigating the role that death plays in books targeted towards adolescents. If he's not reading or writing, he's probably playing some overly complicated board game or out running with his dog. His office hours are Thursdays from 1-2 at the courtyard located at the center of the Physical Sciences building.

William Anthony Nericcio
bnericcio AT mail DOT sdsu DOT edu

Bill Nericcio was raised by nuns, escaped to the University of Texas at Austin and then to Cornell University.  His first Professor gig was at the University of Connecticut before being kidnapped by the Aztecs--too much on him is noted here.  And NO, he did not write his own wiki entry! Office Hours are Tuesdays after class till around 3:30ish and by appointment
