Here are KEY INSTRUCTIONS regarding your ACID TEST "Assignment" for tomorrow!

SNAPCHAT ASSIGNMENT #2:
Montezuma Hall “Acid Test”

For this second Snapchat assignment, create a brief 15 second or so sequence of still and moving images and music that document some of your more trippy experiences at the Montezuma Hall Acid Test. This exercise is an opportunity for you to offer an original, multimedia interpretation of the principle of transformation, a central theme of psychedelic music and culture; in other words, demonstrate how the sights and sounds of the acid test, as informed by select experiences, visions, sights, witnessings impact you during the Acid Test experience/concert. When creating these Snapchat sequences, students should juxtapose images, sounds, and texts captured at the culminating event at Montezuma Hall. Feel free to be inventive in your interpretation of your “transformation of consciousness.” In a sense, tomorrow, you become "Thomas" from Blow-Up!  One, you are a photographer / videographer capturing a scene; but also, you are a costumed mime of sorts, bending reality through your participation / consciousness / imagination!!!!!!

Post your snapchats using the psychedelic mirrors geofilters here:

Hi Bill,

The geo-filters are set to go for Thursday. Would you please remind your folks that we'll be running two Snapchat geofilters during the event. The following link explains the how-to of using geo-filters.

A basic change in the settings of the app and they'll be able to access them. I have a hunch that most of them know how to use them. Their Snapstories were very cool--Rylie Sutton, Devin Michael and Danielle Stancikas were a few of my favorites.   Thanks for your support in our little endeavor,

Cassie
